The founder
Matthew Sutika.
Matthew started his career running a State Farm agency in Indianapolis, selling personal lines from 2012 to 2017. In 2017 he founded Skylight Insurance in Chicago and ran it as CEO until its assets were acquired in 2020. Nimble launched publicly on January 1, 2024.
The origin story that matters is not the resume. Matthew is a commercial insurance operator and a multifamily investor. He has owned the kind of property Nimble insures, signed the loan documents, and waited on the certificate the week of closing.
